EVENT OVERVIEW:

A one-day course to provide in-the-classroom and in-the-field training for individuals to learn about the regulations and solutions for dust control, soil erosion, and stormwater compliance.

This will be an overview of the dust control issues and threats in arid areas of CA, NV & AZ. Local regulators from the Coachella Valley Air Quality Management District and local municipalities provide insight into local AQMD permitting, training, and BMP requirements for your project site. Learn from local contractors and SWPPP developers about the critical components of a successful Dust Control Plan. Product manufacturers and suppliers will be on hand to provide key points and insights on BMPs used in the region.

After lunch, we will travel to a nearby local construction project to bring together all of the information we learned in the classroom to the field and to see the proper installation and maintenance of BMPs and ways to stay in compliance with your SWPPP.
